I’ve been trying to take inventory of my passions, which are many. The ones that burn the hottest right now are reading, writing, consuming art, looking at old photographs of people who are now dead, walking, and coffee.
So what am I reading?
The Namesake, by Jhumpa Lahiri. Reading again because the prose is perfect.
What am I writing?
Not much right now, but there is something stirring around. I haven’t had much time the past week to stir the pot and let it cool.
What art am I consuming?
Anything I can get my hands on. I feel starved for art lately.
What dead people are fascinating me?
German brides in crystal crowns and Austrian grooms with upturned mustaches.
Where am I walking?
Around the neighborhood, with our new American bulldog Mifflin.
